A defender of the Christian faith against idolatry is Arnobius of Sicca.. He was Born from pagan parents and grew up thinking as a pagan, known in the education of the city Sicca in Africa, He was an anti-Christian. But the Holy Spirit withdrew him from his known resistance to God's Love of the Christian faith, and his defense till he passed away on the year 330 AD. It was stated in the writings of St. Jerome that the Bishop who baptized Arnbios questioned his Christian faith when he asked to join the Church. He asked him to prove the sincerity of his Christian belief. Arnobios wrote a defense of Christianity in seven parts. The exact translation of its title was “ Against the Gentiles”"Adversus Nationes”. In its essence it represented an attack against the pagans rather than a defense of Christianity. One of the most important of his disciples was Lucius Lactantius who was famous of his fluency in the Latin language and hence was called Chichron the Nazerians ( The Christians). May the Blessings of his prayers Be with all of us AMEN.
