Afratts Father

One of the desert fathers .He provided a living example of the monk who refused to get any charity. He was dependent on God alone. He said: "If it is God Willing that I live He knows how to arrange my life. If He did not want me to live I quite accept that." And when it became handicapped lying on the disease bed he still refused to accept any gift from one. He said : “ If I should take something from someone I do not have anything to give in return”. He believed that the true believer did not care if he was insulted or if any injustice was caused to him, His eyes do not turn away from God. He said: "It Fit those who seek God to look to Him alone, and to depend on Him devoutly so do not bother for any irrelevant insult. even if they were oppressed myriads of times." May the Blessing of his prayers be with all of us Amen.
